Email reports will not be distributed

IF A CRIME OR OTHER SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW,
DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE - CALL 9-1-1
This website is NOT for reporting any "in-progress" activity.
This site does not connect to the Dallas Police Department
or any other police department.
CALL
9-1-1 for a life-threatening criminal or suspicious
activity in-progress.
Bad news may travel fast, but sometimes not fast enough
to keep you from being the next victim of a burglary or car
theft.
DailyCrimeReport.com
gives you the news about crimes in your neighborhood, just
24 hours after the Dallas Police Department and Daily Crime
Report, LLC files the offense reports.
Daily Crime Report is a fee-based subscription service.
Until
December 31st, 2008, 'lifetime' subscriptions are $15,
no matter how many reports (beats) you request. This is
an optional fee only until December 31st, which gives you
a chance to test-drive the system for at least another
month.
As of January
1st, 2009, the fee will be mandatory, and raised to $25 per
year.
Every
morning, Daily Crime Report downloads the file, extracts
the data and pushes the information to you by email.
Before you finish your first cup of coffee, you already
know what criminal incidents took place within your neighborhood,
your neighborhood association, even around your childrens'
schools or your office complex.
Your daily email message includes the complete list of incidents
in your DPD Beat or Neighborhood Association (click here for
sample report), as reported within the last 24 hours (midnight
- midnight), plus the previous 10 days.
Daily Crime Report gives you the basics -
Service Number, Report Date, Report
Time, Beat (or Sector), Address, Description and Method
of Operation/Narrative. The comments are exactly
as the police officer entered them - no filtering, no spellcheck.
Sample Daily Crime Reports
You can use the Offense Report Number to get more information
about the incident - you're just one click away from the DPD's
Public Access page.
You
only have to subscribe one time, and every morning we deliver
a Daily Crime Report to you.
If you want reports from multiple Beats, simply repeat the
subscription process.
Daily Crime Report is a free service, but we ask you
to pay a one-time optional subscription fee of
$15 (click here for
more information). You can make your payment after you submit
your subscription request (one payment covers all your reports).
Daily Crime Report can build reports to fit a neighborhood
association's boundaries, schools and office or industrial
areas (click
here).
Multiple report requests (different police beats or sectors)
generate multiple emails (in this version).
